Application for admission to the College of Environmental Design is made through UC Berkeley’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The application is available October 1 and the filing period is November 1 to November 30. In addition to completing CED’s lower-division requirements, all prospective CED students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements defined by the University of California. Transfer applicants must also meet the University's minimum admission requirements for transfer students. Picture yourself at Berkeley! Interested in applying? Freshman Applicants Detailed information about admissions requirements for freshmen is available on the UC Berkeley Office of Undergraduate Admissions website. The UCB Office of Undergraduate Admissions makes all freshman admissions decisions. International freshman applicants should consult the office's website for additional information specific to international freshman applicants. Transfer Applicants Transfer students are admitted at the junior level only (90 quarter units or 60 semester units of transferable college credit) and must have completed a substantial body of general education requirements and prerequisite course work relative to their chosen major.
