One of the strengths of the College of Environmental Design is its strategic partnership with practicing professionals, many of whom are CED graduates. The backbone of this partnership is the CED Alumni Association Mentorship Program, which offers a direct link between the students in the college and the world of professional practice.

The CED Alumni Association Mentorship Committee sponsors at least one event per semester to help foster opportunities for students and mentors to get together. While this program is not a regular course, the mentor and the student typically meet at least three times during each semester.
