The College of Environmental Design's alumni ranks have grown to over 25,000 since the founding of the college in 1959. CED alumni are invited to reconnect with peers and the campus community through numerous programs and events hosted throughout the year. • Provide guidance and advice for current undergrads and grads at CED by becoming a mentor. Students are eager to hear the opinions of seasoned professionals about their work in school as well as possible career paths. Sign up to become a mentor online.
   
• Volunteer for externships through the Career Center's Externship Program during the January winter break. Cal freshmen and sophomores who are exploring their career direction will be placed in externships where they can shadow you at your workplace.
