The CED Distinguished Alumni Award is given annually to alumni of the departments of Architecture, City & Regional Planning, Decorative Art/Design, and Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning in recognition of outstanding achievement.

For the purposes of this award, an alumnus or alumna is a person who attended the college for the equivalent of at least one academic year. Nominees should be living. Please note the process is strictly confidential and nominees should not be contacted.

Due to the diversity of careers of CED alumni, a nominee is not required to be working in the field of environmental design. Nominees shall have made outstanding and significant contributions in professional, social, academic, artistic, or other areas that the awards committee feels are appropriate for recognition. These areas may be local, national, or international.
