2009-10 | 2008-09 | 2007-08 | 2006-07 The following individuals, foundations, and organizations have strengthened our college through gifts of $10,000 or more in 2009-2010. We are profoundly grateful for their support. Howard, ’50 and Candy Friesen, ’50 gave the college its largest gift of $1,000,000 toward The Carmel P. Friesen Chair in Urban Studies. Mario J. Ciampi bequested $52,764 to establish the Mario Ciampi Art in Architecture Award. Jennifer R. Wolch and Michael J. Dear gave $50,000 to the Dear-Wolch Social Planning Award. Jiaxing Urban Planning & Construction Bureau gave $38,000 toward the Jiaxing Sustainable Neighborhood Fund. Fong & Chan Architects Inc. gave $20,000 toward the Fong and Chan Architects Undergraduate Scholarship Endowment. John F. Schmidt, ’60 and Barbara M. Schmidt gave $15,000 toward the College of Environmental Design Annual Fund for Architecture. Royston Hanamoto Alley & Abey gave $12,500 toward the Robert Royston Landscape Architecture Lecture Fund. $10,000 was anonymously donated to the College of Environmental Design Dean’s Annual Fund. Norma N. Esherick gave $10,000 toward the Joseph Esherick Endowed Chair. Raymond Lifchez, ’72 gave $10,000 toward the Lifchez Endowment Fund. Anders J. Maxwell, ’69 and Carlene S. Maxwell gave $10,000 toward the College of Environmental Design Dean’s Annual Fund. Frederic D. Schwartz, ’73 gave $10,000 to the Frederic Schwartz Architecture Graduate Student Award. |
