The CED Mentorship program is a great way to enlarge your perspective of the professional world. This opportunity will provide you with valuable experience and insight into your field of interest that will be helpful to you when you begin to seriously consider your career choices in the future.

Begin by signing up for the program, taking care to be as thorough and informative in your profile description as possible. The information in your profile need not strictly relate to your experience at CED and design. To match yourself to a mentor, click “Connect with a Mentor” on the left-hand menu column. This will lead you to a list of all available mentors. Determine which mentor best suits your needs by reviewing the profiles of these mentors and then contacting them to initiate your relationship. Once you have been matched, consult with your mentor about the best method of communication for the relationship and designate a convenient meeting time. We realize that both you and your mentor have busy schedules, but please do your best to keep the relationship as active as possible by corresponding by email or phone and by meeting (at a CED lecture series event, for example) when convenient. The CEDA sponsors the mentorship program for your benefit. We encourage you to maximize this opportunity to obtain professional advice and expertise. Remember — you will only get as much out of the program as the effort you put into it. Sign up for the program here.

Please consult the Mentorship Website for more information.
