cPanel Web Account: See HIDDEN files in cPanel File Manager

Solution cPanel Web Account: See HIDDEN files in cPanel File Manager (like the .htaccess file):

Note: If you had opted out of seeing hidden files (or you just don't see it now) when you first logged into cPanel, but now you want to:

+ Close all File Managers windows/browsers from cPanel

+ Click on the small link at the BOTTOM at the cPanel footer that says: "reset all interface settings"

+ Open cPanel File Manager again > and there should be options when you first use File Manager again to view hidden files.

That should be it to view hidden files!

Note: If you can't see this option to view hidden files after you do these steps, try changing the theme to: X theme or X3 skin first: there is an option to show hidden files there.
