Kenneth Foster Strong Memorial Scholarship Fund Print

This scholarship was established in 1944 by the parents and friends of Lieutenant Kenneth Foster Strong, a member of the class of 1939 of the University of California. Lieutenant Strong was killed in action in 1943 while flying as co-pilot of a B24 Liberator heavy bomber on a raid over the enemy-held harbor of Macassar, Dutch Celebes.

The scholarship is open to undergraduate students in architecture. Awards are based on academic record and financial need. Award amounts are typically $5,000.
