Prize: $4000
Eligibility: M. Arch, M.Sc, and Ph.D. students with at least a year left to complete

Awarded annually or every other year (depending on funding) to students who wish to pursue joint studies in Architecture and Engineering.

Materials required for application: (emailed to <dko@berkeley.edu>)
•A Bio-Bibliography of coursework and/or work/research experience
•A one-paragraph abstract
•A statement including objectives, methods, and significance of proposed research, adviser and others you intend to work with, and a budget justification (for “necessary consumable, experimental supplies”)
•Registration and Eligibility Form

Note:
The student selected by the jury must be approved by the T.Y. Lin Foundation. You need not be in a joint degree program with Engineering in order to apply.
