Prize: 2-8 awards, ~$500-$2000 each
Eligibility: M.Arch and M.S. students in their thesis year, enrolled full-time in the Department of Architecture for the Fall Semester.

Awarded to students ready to begin research on their thesis. Selection made on the basis of the student's "excellence of purpose" for work on a graduate thesis. This fellowship can support travel during the break between the Fall and Spring semesters of the current academic year.

Material required for application: electronic copies emailed to <dko@berkeley.edu> by midnight on Wednesday (11/18) and hard-copies dropped off at the grad office by Monday (11/23) at noon.

•A one-paragraph abstract summarizing your statement of purpose/proposal.
•A statement of purpose and clear methodology related to both the thesis project and the budget (maximum 2 pages, double-spaced, no smaller than 10pt type.)
•A detailed budget.
