Francis Violich Dalmatian Fellowship

Date: Saturday, December 15, 2007 (4:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Location: 226 Wurster Hall

Prize: Assistance with attending CED
Eligibility: Incoming graduate students from the Dalmatian Coast

This fellowship is to assist in bringing students from the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia to the College of Environmental Design for graduate work in the environmental fields of urban planning, design, and landscape architecture. Applicants must be admitted to City Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Architecture Masters programs. Applicants must have been schooled and raised mainly in Dalmatia.

This award is administered by the Department of City and Regional Planning. Applicants must submit a stated intention to return to Dalmatia to work, use the Violich Research Collection and book (“The Bridge to Dalmatia”), and pursue interdisciplinary studies.
