Prize: $1,500
Eligibility: Declared Urban Studies majors (except graduating seniors)

Established through a gift by Joan Lam in memory of Jason Yuen, this $1,500 scholarship is available to all declared Urban Studies students (except graduating seniors). The scholarship recognizes academic and community service excellence. The scholarship is applied toward tuition for the following fall semester. The prize is administered by the Urban Studies committee.

Application Process: Please submit (1) a statement of purpose that addresses the student's service to the community and extracurricular interests; (2) one letter of recommendation; and (3) a statement of financial need.
