![]() Places25: A symposium celebrating 25 years of publication, co-sponsored by the College of Environmental Design and the journal Places: Forum of Design for the Public Realm. Program The symposium will gather at 8:30 a.m., convene at 9:00 a.m., include lunch hour seminars, and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Place presentations, commentary, and plans for the future will be presented by: Stanford Anderson, Peter Bohlin, Robert Campbell, Frances Halsband, Randy Hester, Walter Hood, Elizabeth Macdonald, Nicholas de Monchaux, William Porter, Mark Simon, Mario Violich, Donlyn Lyndon, and the Places Editorial Advisory Board. Registration Your $35 registration pays for attendance at the symposium, a box lunch, and a one-year introductory subscription to the journal Places. Symposium attendance is free to current Places subscribers and students, although $15 is required in advance for each box lunch. Please respond with a check payable to Places25 and mail by April 25, 2008, to Places25 College of Environmental Design 390 Wurster Hall #1839 Berkeley, CA, 94720-1839 Faces and Places Gala Event The CED Archives will hold a gala event following the symposium, from 5-10 p.m. at Wurster Hall. This celebration will honor Professor Donlyn Lyndon, distinguished designer, teacher, editor, mentor, author, colleague and friend.
