Imageworks and ILM. His visual effects
team won two Oscars for 'Forest Gump',

and one British. His
title is Visual Effects Supervisor.

acquired by Leica, CYRA produces highly
sohisticated 3D laser scanners capable of scanning such diverse
locations as large buildings, movie sets, large construction projects,
oil refineries, and
historic sites such as Tombo Colorado in Peru
(an Inca
Adobe Site currently being researched by archaeologist
Craig
Morris and architect JP Protzen)
Dennis and Chris, Application Engineers for CYRA have traveled
the world
in pursuit of their job. They demonstrated and explained
details
of
the scanning process with which they work.
They
scanned Wurster Hall and the retrofit construction,
including scanning the California Oaks which are in front of the building.
They
distributed tif images of the scene to the students.
