CY PLAN C114 Fall 2006 Print

Introduction to Urban and Regional Transportation | Instructor: Karen Frick

This course is designed to introduce students to the characteristics of urban transportation systems, the methods through which they are planned and analyzed, and the dimensions of key policy issues confronting decision makers. In Fall 2006, the course was cross-listed with Civil Engineering 154.

One of the semester's assignments was Great Places in PARK(ing) Spaces: {Re}Envisioning Cities. Students explored the myriad of other uses for a standard-sized parking space and created installations of their assignments in the fountain plaza between Wurster Hall and Bancroft Avenue.
