Friends and family of graduating students in architecture, city and regional planning, landscape architecture and environmental planning, urban design, and visual studies filled UC Berkeley's Greek Theatre on an unseasonably rainy Monday, May 17, 2010, for the commencement ceremony of the College of Environmental Design.

Cecilia Estolano, J.D., Chief Strategist on State and Local Initiatives for Green For All, gave the keynote address. Benjamin Golder (A.B. Architecture ‘10) and Mariana Parreiras (M.C.P./M.S. The 2010 CED/CEDA Distinguished Alumni Award recipients were Michael Painter (B.S.
