Apply: Submission Process

Proposals are to be sent by e-mail to Professor Raymond Lifchez at lifchez@berkeley.edu. Please include “JLS Travel Scholarships” in the subject line of the e-mail.

In addition, a hard copy of the Proposal, the applicant’s College transcripts and any supporting material are to be delivered by hand to Professor Raymond Lifchez during his spring semester office hours, 474 Wurster Hall.

All WRITTEN material shall be enclosed in a 9”x12” envelope that is to be addressed as shown below:

Additional material must be clearly labeled with the students name, e-mail address and telephone number. Submitted supporting material will not be returned until the announcement of the scholarship recipients.

Proposals and documents must be received no later than 5:00pm, Monday, March 31; Awards will be announced Monday, April 14, 2008.
