The Judith Lee Stronach Undergraduate Travel Scholarships
To honor Judith Lee Stronachs legacy and love for art, architecture and travel, the Judith Lee Stronach Undergraduate Travel Scholarships encourage the study of new places, cultures and peoples, as well as commitment to social responsibility. Awarded each summer and winter, the scholarships are open to undergraduate students majoring in architecture, landscape architecture, urban studies, or sustainable environmental design in the College of Environmental Design at UC Berkeley.
This winter, 3–6 scholarships will be awarded for travel between December 20, 2015–January 19, 2016 within the context of travel associated with independent research, which may include undergraduate thesis research. The application deadline is 11:59 p.m., October 12, 2015. Scholarship recipients will be announced on November 13, 2015. APPLY NOW!
Check back at the beginning of Spring 2016 for the Summer 2016 application, which supports travel associated with formal study-abroad programs, nonprofit internship/volunteer work, or fieldwork related to an undergraduate thesis.
